Whatever happened to Jack the Ripper case files? The London Police tell that they were just lost among other old dusty files. The inofficial truth however is that Inspector Abberline took the file case to his home to pursue the case.  The box filled with the papers and photos was not simply lost. Here is the house: three storeys, three rooms and a balcony. I admit it is tiny for a Victorian gent, but he has to wait for a bigger house yet for a while. He has not done much redecorating yet, I guess he must be busy with his investigations and archiving his files. There used to be a family that lived there - husband wife, a little girl and a baby. These pics are from last year when my cockatiel Delta had his cage beside the dollhouse and developed an interest in the balcony. He didn't mind Miranda touching him, but it seems that he was a little upset by the appearance of Inspector Abberline at first. I just found a good site with printables for dollhouses that had the scale I am looking for.Jim's dollhouse pages: http://www.printmini.com/printables/ I found some newspapers for Abberline - topic of the day seems to be Titanic sinking...And he seems to have lots of official papers to go through. These cigarette packs comes from the same site, they were so small that it was hard with my feeble... Lue lisää

I was looking through my beads when I noticed this blue bead - it would make a perfect inbottle for the desk. I had made some quill pens before from the small feathers of our zebrafinches - there's plenty to be found at the bottom of their cage. I found these euro-mini books in a hobby store and am slowly building up a library. These are meant for smaller size dolls, but that doesn't matter much. Now that I get the idea I can make some bigger books. But but where will he keep these books... I have no bookshelves and there's no place more in the house. The dollhouse is hand crafted and unique, and I am slowly customizing it for my Barbie-sized Inspector Abberline doll. I just collect bits and pieces slowly and add and replace older items for better ones. Yesterday I found a carpet at a decoration store, and it had just the right size and look for the living room.
